Timea Babos entered the ITF Junior Circuit in 2006. She was 13 at the time. First, she triumphed in Hungary’s first-ever Grade 5 Talentum Cup doubles competition. She also played her first singles match but lost in the second round.  As a doubles player, she went on to win the 2007 Grade 5 Mostar Open.
