Liam Gallagher is an English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, best known as the lead singer of the rock band Oasis between 1991 and 2009, during which they were deemed one of the best bands in Britain by various polls. As a part of the band, he released 7 studio albums between 1994 and 2009. Their debut album Definitely Maybe (1994) was a huge commercial success and became the fastest selling British album that year. Their 2nd album, (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? (1995), was an even bigger success and led to the band’s international tours. Liam and his band released 5 more studio albums – Be Here Now (1997), Standing on the Shoulder of Giants (2000), Heathen Chemistry (2002), Don’t Believe the Truth (2005) and Dig Out Your Soul (2008) before they split up in 2009.

    Liam Gallagher released his debut solo studio album titled As You Were on October 6, 2017, via Warner Bros. Records. The album debuted at number 1 spot in the UK, outsold all of the albums in top 10 of the Billboard UK Albums Chart combined, and was later certified ‘Platinum’ in the UK. One of the producers for the album, Greg Kurstin, won a Grammy Award for “Producer of the Year, Non-Classical” in 2018.
