Jersey Shore Star Jenni JWoww Farley Reveals Her Final Straw In Her Marriage To Roger Mathews

Publish date: 2024-06-22

Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star Jenni “JWoww” Farley has kept silent about her divorce from Roger Mathews since she filed back in September 2018. But in the most recent episode of the MTV reboot, the 33-year-old opened up about the split to her good friend Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.

JWoww told Snooki that she didn’t talk about the divorce publicly because she thought “silence was the greater good,” and Snooki agreed.

“It is, for your kids,” Polizzi said. “And who wants this s–t out in the public, anyway? I guess he does.”

Farley said that no matter how bad her relationship with Mathews got, she stayed quiet because that is what you’re supposed to do. And for her, the ultimate betrayal was when her ex went public.

Farley and Mathews were married for nearly three years when they split, and they are also the parents of Meilani, 5, and Greyson, 3. Matthews did not take the split well, and back in December, he posted a series of videos on Instagram accusing his ex of “hysterically shouting” at him and threatening to call the police after they fought about her returning to work.

Mathews says that he was the one who ended up calling the cops, but the situation eventually calmed down and they ended up leaving. Then, Matthews said that he left to record a podcast, and a few hours later he returned home to go to sleep.

Mathews then claimed that the police woke him up at 2 a.m. and removed him from the house after Farley contacted a judge and filed a restraining order against him. He ended up filming several of the videos he posted in the back of a police car.

“This is the level my ex wife takes it to after telling my kids their dad is a piece of s–t, and she’s sorry she ever had children with him,” Mathews wrote in the caption. “She gets so emotional and irrational in her anger this is the level she brings it to.”

Farley called the videos “a really, really low blow,” and she says she never told Mathews he couldn’t see the kids. Snooki explained to producers that JWoww never kept the kids away from Matthews, and she even let him stay at the house after she filed for divorce so he could be near them.

“But, he would start fights in front of the children. So finally, enough is enough, she called the cops and said, ‘You’ve got to get out.’ But she never said Roger can’t see his kids,” said Snooki.

Farley added that the cops never arrested Mathews, and they were simply giving him a ride. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have let him have his phone. Farley says that she wants all of this to calm down instead of getting out of control because he is the father of her kids, and she has to keep it together.

Since filing for divorce, Farley has moved on with professional wrestler Zack Carpinello.
