  • He co-starred as Adv. Mohanachandran Pothuval (Appu) in the Malayalam-language romantic drama film Thooval Kottaram in 1996. For this role, Jayaram Subramaniam won the Special Jury Award at the 1996 Kerala State Film Awards and the Filmfare Award for “Best Actor”.
