Irina Shayk sports a black eye at London Fashion Week
Irina Shayk has taken a lot of headlines from London Fashion Week as she sported a fake black eye on the runway during the Mowalola SS24 show.
In a show which included her ex-boyfriend, Kanye West, Shayk was seen wearing the bold accessory, although the reason as to why isn't yet clear.
Another part of the ensemble for Shayk was a sweatshirt which featured a popular picture of the deceased rapper, Tupac.
Shayk has not been able to stay out of the headlines of late, given the burgeoning romance between herself and Tom Brady.
After splitting with Gisele Bundchen, another model, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has been romantically linked to a number of women.
Despite this, there are still rumors that Shayk wants to marry Bradley Cooper, and her romantic adventure with Brady is nothing more than a spot of fun.
Why did Irina Shayk wear a fake black eye?
The detail on the fake black eye was tremendous, as it featured the associated bruising and swelling, with a lot of compliments needing to go to whomever did Shayk's makeup.
However, it's not obvious as to why she made this choice, with no explanation seemingly forthcoming.
Initially it was thought to bring attention to domestic violence victims and associated charities, rather like when Serie A players sport a red-lipstick smudge on their face during matches, however this isn't thought to be the case for Irina Shayk.
As Shayk modelled a number of outfits, the fake black eye was present for each trip to the runway, and it remains to be seen just what message she was hoping to portray with this unique fashion choice.
