Hugh Grosvenor, 7th Duke of Westminster
One of the richest aristocrats in Great Britain. 30-years old and single (hmmmmm). Not bad looking. Did I mention *RICH*? Who's had him?

He looks like he'd be a handful to deal with.

He's got a black great something or other in his lineage.

R3-- Of course, don't we ALL now. Otherwise he would be privileged.
PS- he's very close to his mother and 3 sisters. They will be vetting anyone coming his way.

How does OP already have 100 WWs?

His only achievement in life? Being born in this position where by an archaic and medieval custom, he gets to own some of central London’s most exclusive real estate that will then be transmitted to his descendants, just like it was transmitted to him by his father. Such a situation in the 21st century is an absolute aberration. Off with his head!

I stayed at his hotel and enjoyed it. Handy location right by Victoria Station.

His maternal grandfather, Harry "Bunny" Phillips had a long affair with a Mountbatten of Burma which ended when he married Georgina Wernher. Georgina's mother, Lady Zia Wernher was the elder sister of Nada Milford Haven who was married to George Mountbatten the 2nd Marquess of Milford Haven and an uncle of Prince Phillip.

Right to property ownership - which includes right of inheritance - isn't a archaic or medieval custom. It's a foundational principle of free market exchange and a cornerstone of a free society.

R8 I don't think it's "his" hotel. When it opened in 1929, it took the Grosvenor name, but according to the Grosvenor Group's website that chunk of property was sold off in the 1920s and 30s:
[quote] The majority of Grosvenor’s holdings in Pimlico, 66 acres, were sold in 1952. Selected other properties, such as the former Grosvenor House (now the Grosvenor House Hotel) and Claridge’s, were sold in the 1920s and 30s. This was done on a piecemeal basis to avoid depressing the market and in preparation for expected death duties due upon the passing of the 2nd Duke of Westminster. The approach also allowed for the proceeds to fund the organisation’s international expansion.
The hotel's had about five owners since 2006 when the Royal Bank of Scotland acquired it. While it's still managed by Marriott under a long-term agreement, it's current owner is Katara Hospitality (Qatar Investment Authority).

R15 It was handed to him for doing nothing just like it was handed to his father and down the line. Completely useless rich people who didn't do a damm thing to earn it, except to be pushed out of another rich person's cunt. Don't even try it.

As a child he was ugly. He's only hot now.

Is anybody near Hyde Park? I hear [R17] shouting from the top of a soapbox.

Don't find Hugh Grosvenor "hot" or even mildly attractive. But to each is or her own...
There was talk several years ago the duke was off the market and soon to marry, it didn't happen.
Even if the duke was gay, which I doubt, he is going to marry and breed children regardless. Since Hugh Grosvenor is the only male heir of the 6th duke , and the fifth only had the one son as well you can be quite sure marriage and the getting of legal heirs from a duchess of Westminster will be in the cards.
In fact Gerald Grosvenor, 4th Duke of Westminster died without issue which is how the 5th duke came to inherit. If the 7th duke fails to provide legitimate male issue before his demise a search going back to the 1st, Duke of Westminster (and his heirs) will have to commence to see if there's a male heir out there somewhere.
Should one have all this correct, and believe one does, expect Huge Grosvenor to pick up something sooner or rather than later. Divorce isn't a huge scandal among peers of realm as is past. Even if that event occurred the heir and possibly one or more spares wouldn't have their birth rights touched.

To R8 & R16
Law of Property Act 1925 abolished fee entail, a perfectly wonderful device that allowed nobles, royalty or anyone else to tie up property or assets in multi-generational trusts. This coupled with increasing death duties and other taxes on wealth passed after WWI in UK forced many great families to dispose of land, and other assets such as art, jewels, etc....
Dukes of Westminster fared better than most as IIRC only the Queen owns more land in UK. And like HM the Grosvenor family owns some of the best property in Britain and Ireland, but the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific as well.

Don't try it? We are all pushed out of someone's cunt, darling. Perhaps not a wealthy one, but a cunt nonetheless.

Yeah - I'd like to know how OP got 101 WWs? Is it a glitch or is someone gaming the system? (Nothing to gain from WW's though).

He might be as wealthier than the Queen, whose personal fortune is estimated at 500 million pounds. He is also godfather to DL FAVE Prince George.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 23, 2021 7:02 PM |
He IS wealthier than the Queen. His father, the late Duke, was worth well over ten billion $.

He's the fifth cousin of Bendor Grosvenor of British televised art history fame (Fake or Fortune, Britain's Lost Masterpieces, etc.).
Bendor doesn't enjoy the same good looks as Hugh, though.
