Publish date: 2024-06-10

The pro wrestling world can be an amazing place for some people, but others are not lucky at all. It seems that Top Flight will have to take another extended hiatus from the AEW tag team division, because Dante Martin is out of action. Thankfully, he is out of the hospial.

Dante Martin is a rising star in AEW, but he hit another snag after suffering a severe injury during the ROH Supercard of Honor event on Friday. He sustained the injury during the Reach for the Sky ladder match, where he took a destroyer from Penta El Zero Miedo off a ladder through multiple tables. That resulted in a bad injury that saw his foot turned around in his boot.

Dante Martin was rushed to the hospital immediately after the event. However, on Sunday morning, Martin announced that he was discharged from the hospital.

The Top Flight member is grateful for the AEW medical staff after their assistance. He did not name drop anyone other than Doc Samson, but the team’s help was obviously valuable.

Blessed to work for a guy like @TonyKhan Great to see him right after getting out the hospital last night! Thank you @DocSampson13 and @AEW medical staff!! Comeback Szn

Dante Martin’s injury has also sparked discussions about the risks that pro wrestlers are taking in ROH and AEW. While injuries are an unfortunate part of any sport, it is essential to make sure that you’re as safe as you can be.

Dante Martin will be out of action for a while after a botched move at ROH Supercard of Honor, but he has a ton of fans who are supporting him through this recovery. Hopefully, he will be able to make it back to action soon, because he is an incredibly gifted pro wrestler.

What’s your take on this injury? Will Dante Martin be the same when he returns? Sound off in the comments!
