Charles Esten Announces New Single 'A Road And A Radio'

Former Nashville TV star Charles Esten has formally announced the release of his brand new single ‘A Road And A Radio’ which will be dropping Friday, October 11th.

The confirmation came on Tuesday night (October, 1st)  as the actor and singer/songwriter premiered the track on the famous Grand Ole Opry stage. Besides his charity fundraising anthem “Light The Night”, this is the first new release from Esten since completing his Guinness World Record-breaking, 54-track #EverySingleFriday campaign back in 2017.

The news of ‘A Road And A Radio’ comes days before Charles Esten kicks off his tour across the UK.

The song has been co-written with J.T. Harding, and produced with Bobby Hamrick, and is a rocking country nod to the open road and the music that has historically been its soundtrack.

Speaking about his latest release, Charles says: “The freedom and spirit-regenerating power of being on the open road with the person and the music you love isn’t just a piece of American mythology. It’s real. This song attempts to capture a little bit of that. It would be nice to think that maybe when somebody out there, in an attempt to get away from it all, decides to get ‘a song turned up’ and ‘a ragtop down,’ this just might be one of the songs they turn up.”

Make sure you catch Esten when he arrives in the UK for his string of shows with support from rising British Country trio The Adelaides.
